I wish I could Journey Through Time…

Imagine you could travel back in time, visit your ancestors when they were kids. Perhaps go and discover what killed the dinosaurs. Or maybe visit significant other historical events. Wouldn’t that be an an unbelievable journey? Now imagine you could go visit the far future. See what happens to mankind. Witness the creation of Artificial intelligence. Watch Dyson spheres surround the Earth.

There are countless people who ask: is time travel possible? Even though there are plenty of time travel theories, no one really knows. The fact is, we don’t see around a lot of visitors from the future (which should be the case if time travel were possible, no?). Or maybe they are here, but are just hiding…

Since we don’t have time travel machines, for now, we have to stick to fiction. Unsurprisingly, time travel movies are an extremely popular sub-genre of sci-fi. Just visit IMDB and you’ll see that so many movies with a time travel element have been phenomenally successful: the Back to the Future trilogy, The Butterfly Effect, Prime, Donnie Darko, The Terminator Series and countless others.

As one who finds the concept of time travel irresistible and wishes he could travel back and forth in time (with or without a Delorean), I can’t promise this will ever be possible. But at least until then we’ll have a lot of enjoyable watching films and reading novels!
