Violent Bacteria in Probiotic Yogurt
Having more than two strands of bacteria mixed together can create a hostile environment. Bacteria, in a sense, is alive, and when it’s mixed with other different bacteria it gets violent and in a sense can kill the other bacteria. This is once of the major problems with probiotic yogurt. While the live bacteria is places into the yogurt, it isn’t necessarily live when we eat it. This defeats the whole purpose of eating probiotic, and more studies need to be done to determine how good it actually is for us.
