If you’re a women and you’ve recently dumped your boyfriend it’s natural to question yourself and wonder if it was the right decision. Most women feel a bunch of powerful emotions when they finally take the plunge and end a relationship. Most women will wonder if they should get back with their ex boyfriend and give the relationship a second chance.
Well before reaching a decision you first need to analyze yourself. Are you scared of being alone or are you still in love with him? Women often think they want their ex back when really what they want is the security they felt in the relationship. While everyone likes having security it’s not a good enough reason to be in a relationship.
You also need to consider how your ex feels about you if you decide that you do in fact still love him. First you need to decide on whether or not he still loves you. Also have a think about your reasons for dumping him. If it were reasons such as communication, laziness or attitude problems then these are reasons that can be worked on and you can still get your ex boyfriend back.
Deeper problems such as loss of attraction or cheating are more difficult to sort out. If loss of attraction was the reason for the break up then it’s better if you don’t pursue the relationship further. Without strong sexual feelings the relationship won’t last the distance so there’s no point in wasting time.
If you conclude that he still does love you then the final thing you need to think about is how you are going to get him back. If you intend on getting back together the problems the relationship previously had will need to be sorted. The best way of approaching this would be to have a deep conversation with your ex and tell them what you would want to change. Obviously the changes you would like to see will be the reasons that inspired the break up in the first place. If your ex isn’t prepared to change then getting back with them would be a mistake.
