It’s very easy to get caught up in cute comforters and matching colors; never thinking that those same items may be dangerous, so here are some tips to ensure that your baby’s crib is a safe and comfortable space, while still looking stylish.
No need to make your baby’s bed like your own: the main components are fitted sheets and light receiving blankets. Comforters are usually not used on children under the age of 2 so it is not a necessity to buy a baby bedding set that comes with one. Never cover an infant (age 0-12 months) with a heavy blanket–this is a suffocation hazard, and it is possible for the child to overheat in his or her sleep.
Be aware of the temperature in the nursery to keep the room pleasant for your baby, use lightweight clothes in the summer, and try wearable blankets in the winter.

Instead of using heavy blankets, pay attention to the temperature in the nursery to keep the room comfortable and for clothing, use lightweight one-piece pajamas in the summer and thicker sleepers or wearable blankets in the winter.
